How much the programmer / game developer can earn per year?

Acording with Gameover web site the programmers are the highest paid, taking home around $ 93,000, something like 69 thousands euros annually, but a women, for doing exactly the same work as men, tend to receive less $ 13,000 (something like 9,500 euros) annually. But is still a good wages, compared to 2008.

I know the Pro is better in specs and almost everything else except for Battery Life and Thinness, but I was thinking of getting the Air due to its lower price tag than the pro. Yet, I was wondering whether is should wait a bit till I earn enough money to buy the Pro? I've never had an Apple laptop so I'm not sure if I should start with the Air and upgrade to the Pro later on or just save up to get the Pro.

Hi, It all depends on the purpose you want to give to it.

I guess that the question should be “Do you really need a Mac”

I kinda like the opinion on this guy about Mac vs Pc check it out. He created a nice video on youtube that can help you with your choice.

Even if that didn’t help, and if you really decided to go for a Mac. Just be aware that most of the specs you wont be able to upgrade them like older Mac models so there is an exponencial growth on the price tag for the mid range models.
